When I ordered the version of this book I thought it was a sequel to the original. What it is, however, is a copy of the original with little bits of additional story mingled in. Read the original and forget this one.
I reall enjoy reading, so to be able to add books so easily is great. The books are delivered without wait or problems. I will use this seller again. I love the Wuthering Heights stories and anything to do with Vampires.
not a real page turner at first.a little hard to start but okay once it got going.Okay in the end.
I ordered this book out of curiosity, I am a huge fan of Wuthering Heights so I wanted to taste it with in the horror key for once. I wasn't expecting much from this book but it turned out to be very pleasant! It is well written and faithful to the original novel. I was happy to read Heathcliff's point of view for once and the vampire reference had been really interesting. One of my favourite mash-up surely.
This book helped to remember parts of the original book that I had forgotten. It really helped me to put the story straight in my mind. Love the Bronte sisters.
A bit long winded to suit me but all in all a good read. I love gothic romances and wuthering heights is among my favorites. Having Heathcliff as a vampire just gave it that added boost.
As an English teacher, I always love an inside joke and this treatment of Wuthering Heights is full of Bronte-esque puns that the mistress of the Gothic novel would have loved. This one was a thumbs up, although not as briskly moving as Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, or George Washington, Werewolf.
